Introduction

Dear friends and colleagues

I am delighted to welcome you to the Falk National GI Primary Care Symposium hosted in Sheffield.

Sheffield has a long tradition of forging innovative GI links with primary care, outreach clinics, pre-referral triage (cases) and GP’s with specialist interest in GI. Our programme has been determined entirely by primary care, so we hope you feel it is relevant to your practice.

Sincerely, we hope that the talks are relevant and will influence your practice. The programme provided covers some very novel areas that are emerging, new therapies, endoscopy practice points and some really difficult clinical problems.

This will be a face to face National meeting so please arrange the time off now! Come to Sheffield in person on Friday May 13th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (and feel ‘normal’ again ?).

However, if you are unable to travel to Sheffield you can still watch and take part live on the day via our live digital stream – so please mark this into your diary and create the day off in advance. You may only be able to watch some talks but that is ok too – you can tune in and out if or when you have a free moment. So please register now.
We are really lucky to have a number of nationally recognised GP’s who have given up their time to support this meeting. We are equally lucky to have Dr Falk supporting this initiative.

Please, please come we think you might really enjoy the day.
