Symposium Sponsors

Here are the details of sponsorship opportunities for Sheffield Gastro symposia.

There are 2 types of online advertising available.

These are available to all sponsors – we have let you know in the email that linked you to this page how much time you have been allotted for break slides, and how many carousel slides you can have:

1. During breaks in the talk schedule, adverts will be shown on the live stream. You can contribute to the break adverts with still slides, videos or power point presentations. (These will appear where the PredictSURE advert is in the image, see details below)
2. Throughout the whole day, a carousel below the live stream window will display slides with limited content, which you can use to increase brand and product recognition. (These will appear in the red box in the image, see details below)

Closing Date

The closing date for all sponsored materials is 31st August. We cannot guarantee that anything submitted after that date will appear on the symposium live feed page on the 17th September

How to submit content for the live feed breaks

Depending on your sponsorship level, you will have from 30 seconds to 150 seconds of time on the live feed. This can consist of images which can be shown in sequence, a powerpoint presentation or a promotional video.

• All images, powerpoints and videos should have a resolution of 1920x1080px (this is 16:9 aspect ratio). We can’t guarantee that they will be shown if they don’t.
• Still slides: Please tell us how many you are sending, using the form below, and follow the instructions in the form
• Powerpoint files: please tick the box in the form below to say you are sending a power point file – and follow the instructions in the form.
• Videos: As mp4 files tend to be quite large, you will need to send these to us via Wetransfer.com, or send a dropbox link. Please tick the box saying that you’re sending a video.
• If you would like to keep the same advertising that you had last time you sponsored us (you should have received this in the email we sent you with the link to this page), please tick the relevant box in the form below.
• N.B. We cannot guarantee the size that slides will be viewed at, as delegates may be watching on desktop, mobile or tablet. On desktop the live feed can be made full screen, but on mobile very small text will not be visible.

How to submit content for the carousel slides

This is a fixed format advert designed to be quickly readable during the talks so that delegates are made aware of your brand and products (and can click on the links to read the content later in a different tab) but will not miss any of the content of the talks.

The slide consists of the following, which you must provide using the form below (see image)

• A short title
• A square thumbnail image at least 600 x 600px
• A short amount of text (you can include bullet points, bold & italic text, links and separate paragraphs)
• A link (optional) and label text for the button that takes you there (something short like “View our website” or “Find out more”

NB The red background with the Sheffield Gastro icon will be the same on all slides.

• The number of slides you can have depends on your level of sponsorship – in past symposia some sponsors have chosen to advertise the company, some have chosen to advertise a product, others have mixed the two. It’s up to you.
• Prescribing Information can be added via the link on the panel (linking to a PDF on the site, or another website), or advertised in the break slides.
• If you would like to keep the same advertising that you had last time you sponsored us (you should have received this in the email we sent you with the link to this page), please tick the relevant box in the form below.

The logos of all the sponsors advertising on the site will be displayed in a grid list at the bottom of the symposium and the live feed pages

Watching the live symposium on the day

Sponsors can register on the site to view the symposium by going to the symposium page and registering for the site, making sure to click on “I am a healthcare professional” (please state in the “Other” field that you are a sponsor). Then you will be able to sign up for the symposium
